King, Irons Headed to Boise
Honolulu, HI- In a trade with the Alabama Gladiators Sunday, the Grizzlies brought QB Shaun King and RB Kenny Irons into town. The Grizzlies gave up All Star RB Rudi Johnson and 3rd string QB Chad Hutchinson up in the trade. "It's tough to lose a guy like Rudi," Grizzlies owner Beast Mode said in a press conference. "He's done so much for us, but we needed to bring in a better quarterback, and he ws the #1 thing the Gladiators' owner wanted." King will replace struggling Kordell Stewart at QB, while Irons will take over for Johnson at RB. This deal was chosen over a 3 way deal between Boise, Alabama, and the Pearl City Tropics for reasons as of yet unannounced.
